Chris Causey MA LMHC NCC

Chris brings over 20 years experience working with people through a broad range of settings. He spent many years as a clinical chaplain working with oncology and hospice patients in the Seattle area. As a clinical psychotherapist, his specialty is in Process Addictions and working with those who have sustained Trauma and PTSD. Chris understands the powerful correlation between trauma, anxiety and addiction. He is also Certified in EMDR, a type of therapy that can provide supportive resolution of traumatic memories, PTSD and help clients move on. Chris works with each client individually to develop a treatment plan to establish awareness, a sense of reality and a trusting community of support. Sobriety does not happen in isolation. Given his experience, Chris has lived through the chaos and pain active addiction brings, and as a result, he deeply appreciates the serenity that a balanced life offers.
